As you can see from my photos, I’m a pretty handsome guy with a great smile. In typical husky fashion, I have a LOT of energy and would love to be your hiking, running or swimming buddy. I even have a number of tricks to keep you entertained!
I look up to the great Houdini and have been known to make great escapes of my own. All of my furriends are impressed when they hear about the times I’ve jumped over fences and broke through crates!

I love to snuggle, chase butterflies, play with the garden hose and spend time with my best furriend Khoya.
I keep a close circle and have a really hard time making new furriends. Stranger danger, amirite?? Speaking of Stranger danger, I don’t trust new people and can react aggressively out of fear. Thankfully I’ve mastered wearing a muzzle so I can experience the outside world! I will need a lot of time to learn to trust my new family and would prefer to stay safe in my crate when visitors come by. Also, tiny humans scare me. They’re so grabby and unpredictable – adults only please!!

I’m an old soul who loves leisurely walks and long naps. I get along well with other dogs and people…so long as they don’t touch my stuff! Like some humans, I can get grumpy if you wake me up from a nap or try to move me when I’m cozy. “Let sleeping dogs lie” – thats my motto!

Before I came to PDA I never saw much of the outside world. Most of my time was spent in my crate.
I’m still getting used to all of the new things I’m trying. My favourite part was meeting other dogs. I was a little nervous at first but now I love to play – especially with the ladies! I’ve made a few girlfurriends and am known for being a bit of a flirt.
There are a few new things I don’t like… I can be sensitive about being touched and I don’t like being told what to do. I also don’t like when people touch my stuff but hey, I’ve never had such nice stuff!! Handlers at PDA say i’m warming up quickly and with enough love and patience I’ll make a great dog!

Hi, I’m Runa!
I was brought to PDA by some nice people who found me on the side of the road. When they found me I was locked in a crate without food or water. I had a bad case of mange and the vet described me as emaciated. I’m not sure why I was left that way, I like to think I’m a pretty good dog.
After a few weeks at PDA I am a totally different dog! I love going for walks, playing with new furriends and getting lots of love from handlers. I get along with everyone and enjoy meeting new people. My mange is gone but the vet isn’t sure how much hair I’ll be able to grow back. I’m hoping that my sweet nature makes up for my funky hairdo.
